Magnetic Paint
Magnetic paint is a functional coating loaded with iron-rich or magnetite particles so the finished surface can attract magnets. It is commonly used on interior walls, doors, boards, and furniture and can usually be covered with a compatible decorative topcoat.
Magnetic paint compatibility
Magnetic paint is normally an interior base coating rather than the final decorative finish. Magnet attraction depends on the amount of magnetic filler and the completed film thickness, while heavy decorative topcoats can weaken the effect. The exact substrate, primer, number of coats, and topcoat should follow the selected product system.
