ABS Plastic
ABS is a rigid engineering plastic used in housings, automotive trim, appliances, toys, and molded parts. It is generally paintable, but incompatible solvents or brittle coatings can damage the substrate or reduce impact performance.
ABS plastic paint compatibility
ABS accepts many coating systems well, but the primer, topcoat, and solvents should be chosen together to avoid stress cracking or an overly brittle finish.
